CPC Reopening Update - July 31

July 31, 2020

Dear CPC family,

We hope you enjoyed our Student Sunday last weekend where we heard from our students the many ways that Christ has and continues to impact lives. As we make plans to meet in-person on August 16, we wanted to remind you of the five (5) guiding principles that continue to inform our prayerful decision-making in this season:

  • The health and safety of our church family and guests is the utmost importance.

  • Decisions will be made with great faith in King Jesus who is in control.

  • We will follow federal, state and local guidelines as requested by governmental authorities and medical professionals.

  • Being a good neighbor involves helping those suffering as well as following health guidelines to protect the broader community.

  • We will strive to speak highly of other churches and Christians even when we differ on decisions related to COVID-19.

Each church will follow their own convictions regarding how to faithfully follow Christ in this season of restrictions because of COVID-19 and you may hear of other churches making different decisions than CPC. We still feel confident that CPC has chosen the best path forward. We look forward to seeing you online August 2 (at-home communion) and August 9 (Great Commission Sunday). Following Jesus each day with you,

Pastor Tim and the Church Reopening Team
